A lot of people have come up with better fitting locations like Salibi placing it around Jeddah (Judea) in modern Saudi Arabia or Comyns Beaumont putting it in the Hebrews in the Hebridies and Phareohs in the Faroes and Jerusalem in Edinburgh (Odin's Burg, the City of God).
The current location doesn't even have water for growing crops.
