its just too open and too big
u get faggots shooting at u from the other side of the map from nowhere while you dont have anybody on ur team anywhere near you
like its genuinely rare to see teammates on that map if ur not right at the spawn wave
ok maybe not but it feels like it
anyhow, despite being open its still full of bottlenecks you have to walk through to get to the middle or where anybody is
and anybody can just camp those bottlenecks from a million miles away because theres so little cover, so they do
it feels like you just have to get lucky to be able to walk around, i probably havent ever gotten more than care package on afghan ever in my life cause if you actually move around youre guaranteed to die to some retard from the other side of the map
i think all it comes down to is just who sees who first
because its so open and anybody can take pretty much any sightline, most fights are just you getting killed before even seeing the person who shot u, or even if you noticed them it being too late
sure the first shot advantage is a thing in any map, but in ones like afghan its different because youre simply not gonna be able to react to whos shooting
if its an overall smaller one like skidrow then even if you get shot first then you have a chance of reacting in time and winning still
but in afghan whoever is shooting you is probably going to be a speck on your screen and youll be dead before youre even able to notice them, all it comes down to is who notices the other one first, its like playing arma in cod
ig this really only applies to the middle of the map but the rest of it is no less cancer
