They're a reactionist party unfortunately and only want to protect the status quo and gather votes by opposing people randomly in "support of the people" which in reality just means pulling votes away from those who actually try to get things done. On the one hand it makes things more difficult for the voters but on the other it also protects us from extremes a little bit. Classic centrists.
