Romans 5:12
>Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinnedI John 3:4
>Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. This is a tough one. Sin is what causes death, and everyone dies. So everyone has sinned. I mean, children lie. They have no concept that their lie is 'sin', but it's still a sin. Now I feel that is why we go through confirmation/catechism, because at that time we are responsible for our own sins. It is the nature of man to sin and die. I guess the original sin is being a human.
Jeremiah 1:5
>Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Now I'd think that what applies to the man Jeremiah also applies to all men. Somehow, somewhere prior to our human existence we knew God. I guess He's either mad at us and He made us humans, or we chose somehow to live the human experience. Mysterious ways, mysterious ways.
