>>21052313You have a lot of false information you believe to be true regarding the Catholic Church. I'm not going to try and correct you, it's all out there if you care to look for it. Probably every major Catholic YouTuber has done at least one video debunking the popular (what you and I were taught in school) conception of the Crusades for example. And in any case, it's a human institution. Like public schools, there will be corruption.
>don't intentionally skip over the step I listed after all the source textsI didn't skip it. I was complaining that it was contextualized by a framework of knowledge. Rather than simply accepting the Creed, confessing with your heart and lips and...seeking forgiveness for sin. Retard or Genius, it's a level playing field. Or at least much more level. Universal/Catholic.
I have found knowledge to be easy. Faith difficult.
>the Vatican is molochianThe Catholic Church is the largest charitable organization in the world. Could they be more charitable? Maybe. Should they be? Maybe. It's outside of my abilities to judge. I will say there are arguments on both sides. Beautiful Cathedrals might not just be a waste you know.
>Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it. But Jesus said, “Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial. For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.”For your consideration.
