solike the MC is a very simplistic character with a very simplistic goal- inner peace
all the MC wants is peace, and like in the beginning he realises the only way to reach inner peace is return to monke, buuuuut even stil- that peace wouldn't last for long because he would expose his prostrate self to the homos- he'd be defenseless if he resorted to more promitive ways
which is kinda overarchinh with the idea how happiness and suffering aren't just two sides of the same coin; since suffering can be everlasting, pure, eternal until the very end; whilst happiness in innately temporal, it doesn't stick for too long, it just fades away- and all MC is trying to reach is that middle ground where suffering is banished and inner peace is made permament
but he needs resources to fulfill that peace, so MC gets a McGuffin (which he fucks up due to trying senselessly zo walk the middle path with low risk high reward ordeal but grts fucked every time by the monke paw), but when he gets the almighty mcguffin we realise theres a bigger fish
theres always a bigger fish
there are fish so big they just don't care about small fish and only care for big fish like him, and the grind for power makes him seethe in anger as all he wants is so simple and so universal but through most unrealistic set of events he is proven time and time again that his simple goal is just beyond everything and anything
