Facing a weird situation rn on ebay. QRD :
>purchase a lot called silver trinkets (bracelet, rings,..) + silver coinage for 50 bux
>in the description says one or two items may be only silver plated
>pics are all blury it's hard to figure out to precisely what's up in there, but i recognize few coins with decent value
>receive the order
>0/6 items are in silver
>2 of the coins are ridiculous counterfeits made out of tin
>politely confront the seller and tell him we can find an arrangement, simply refund me in weight equivalent what's not in silver and i keep the order
>insult me profusely (never faced that before), call me a liar and a professional scammer
>wtf is going on.jpg
>post pics of the fake coins on a weighting machine, they weight half what they should do
>answer me i trafficked the machine, that it's normal wear
>OK i've had enough, ask the seller for a send back + refund for wrong description and start the ebay process for a refund
>new wave of insults, tell me he refuse to pay for the shipping costs even tho it's his contractual responsibility
>since he doesn't pay the shipping and i refuse to do so, i never send it back (and never provide a tracking n° to ebay nor confirm the sendback)
>tell to myself it's ok, i'll eventually break even with the rare coins from the lot (there is a cob real and a Hadrian denarius in the bunch)
>month later ebay refund me in full out of nowhere, even though i never gave them a tracking number
>seller reach to me panicked, ask me to wire him back the money to his bank account
What would you do in this situation? So far i played dead, quite tempted to keep the monies to teach him a lesson of savoir vivre.
