“Oh FUCK yes! Yes!” Nikki abruptly sits up in bed, and her eyes widen as she looks around and sees Colby and Priscilla staring at her. She grins wryly and covers her mouth. “Sorry about that, I uh, I had kind of a crazy dream.”
She gets to her feet. The demon wasn’t lying when she said she’d awaken refreshed, Nikki can feel clearly that she’s recovered physically from her recent ordeals. But that also means her trip to another realm… it was real. And if that was all real, and the demon was telling the truth, she has family. Real family. Possibly a lot of family.
Nikki sits back down on the bed, deep in thought. She decides against trying to explain this all to Priscilla or Colby. Not yet. She needed to learn more. About herself. About Coco. About her family. And especially about that demon.
She looks up at Priscilla and Colby. “How long was I out?”
