there are German surnames all over the U.S., and in some areas, like my own, we have German ancestry somewhere down the line.
You call us mutts, but it doesn't bother us, as the entire flower of Europe mutted up here in the States, to one degree or another.
My people are North and Northwestern Europe, this is a source of pride to me, not some shame.
