How do literate Russians view Communism as an ideology? I don't know much about it to form a coherent opinion, so don't take this as an informed one. Financial equality sounds pretty absurd to me. Those who work more deserve to earn more. An architect, for example, shouldn't earn the same ammount a bricklayer does. The former job requires more skill and intelligence than the latter. I know that salaries varied during actual Communist regimes, but doesn't Marx's doctrine advocate for complete financial equality? I really should do more reading on this, I know...
