DBZ in an of itself is a massive nostalgia for me, but at the time getting anything DBZ-related here was a pain in the arse.
It's kind of coincidental, I've been watching some old DBZ clips just this week on YouTube. While the series has held up well for what it is, I forgot how absolutely atrocious some of the voice acting was.
In the nostalgia realm, I remember when the Cell arch aired here for the first time. The Perfect Cell theme, holy crap I thought it was so badass. However I obviously couldn't really obtain it back then, so I used one of those shitty recorders with the mini cassette tapes and recorded bits and pieces of it from the reruns. It hindsight it was maximum autismo, but it was all I could think of at the time, haha.
