Would it be a catalytic reaction, similar to how citrid acid can product a minuscule voltage using copper/zinc cathodes? Wouldn't that corrode the copper to the point where it loses efficiency?
Although I suppose cells made that way could be reusable through recasting, similar to aluminum air batteries, that'd still use more energy than it could possibly produce if i'm not mistaken.
