In many Western cultures, the epitome of female desirability is the innocent teenage virgin. A slim, slender figure and a childlike face are all highly desirable. Come to think about it, our society has a freaking major problem with its obsession with quasi-underage pussy.
It didn't always used to be like this. In the 1930s, a fuller, curvier figure was desirable. In the 1950s, a very full, muscular, almost Amazonian woman was desirable. It took until the 1960s for the waif to become fashionable. Apart from a brief period in the 1980s where the sportier, athletic figure was popular for a while, the fixation with teen - almost preteen - sexuality has never gone away.
In the 1970s, it got ridiculous. Paedophilia almost went mainstream. Bands were singing about 14 year olds they fucked. Lots of TV shows and movies had precocious teenagers. Celebrities slept their way through ranks of teen fans, and only today are victims coming forward and former idols being jailed.
