Think about what was going on in Europe a few hundred years ago, and even North America during the early years of the Colonies.
It's just something I thought about when people called people in places like Africa and Afghansitan barbaric. It's true, they are, but perhaps it's just their socieites haven't moved forward yet like ours has.
