The casual observer might mistake this next species for something you'd actually want around: it is visually indistinguishable from a common blue jay. It is only by observing its behavior that its true nature becomes obvious. This bird, Cyanocitta chibi, is actually a member of the chicken hawk family - it exclusively mates with vulnerable young birds. Unable to hunt for itself, it feeds itself by feigning distress in hope of being fed by better-adapted creatures. Once fed, it signals loudly that it will learn to forage in the future, having turned over a new life, but immediately resumes soliciting underage birds for reproductive purposes.
