>Why was there vTubers in /tg/?Someone made a thread about what the implications of VTubers would be in a cyberpunk RPG setting - how you could use them in stories or as characters. Eventually this just turned into people talking about them as a whole. From there I started watching some Minecraft clips with Aqua and I remembered them mentioning /jp/, which eventually led me to the threads. This was right when the Nijis and Holos split off from the main VTuber thread. Then later when EN debuted the Holo thread split again into the main one and global. I'm pretty sure the Holo threads are literally the fastest threads on the site, but even then they don't hold a candle to the ones on 2ch. This is both good and bad. For one it means there's a lot more OC and memes, but at the same time the average post quality is pretty low. It's at least fun if nothing else

It would complicate things for the Western VTubers tho, as they would have to go back to /trash/. Personally I wouldn't mind if it was a red board. Then they could consolidate everything into one board instead of having it spread out between /h/ and /trash/
