I can't stand the shrill, painfully high-pitched voice over, but lowering the pitch a whole bunch actually makes them sound like real people. Makes it almost bearable.
I'm not sure whether they shift recorded lines high up, or the VA's themselves just keep up a constant chipmunk mode. Feels like former.
