is it safe to say MDE is dead at this point? i mean obviously they're more popular than ever but in terms of the charade that they're cool people with well-made entertainment... nick is cool, chris lynch seems chill. but basically everyone else has fucked up lore (e.g., marky, girls cutting, etc.) or some disgusting attribute (incompetence, ego, etc.) that ruins everything. everything they do is so half baked, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt in the lead up to S3 but when I saw the camera placement, the souless house with echoing mics... these retards will never get it right. everything seems to be driven by sam's mindless greed. he doesn't live by anything he preaches. he specifically made fun of someone for drinking alcohol because their dad didn't love them, but sam's dad not loving him is exactly the reason he has a spending addiction. it's all so trite at this point. the only reason im still here is because there's just nothing left. there's no one to look up to, nothing to be entertained by, nothing for enjoyment, everything sucks. I work 10 hours a day to try to make something of my life and then stare at my computer screen hoping something will bring me joy, but nothing ever comes. good night
