I remember I once was in a vegas casino with a fellow tourist who told me how he wants to try to "cook" the machine so it would give out the jackpot. So he played for a long time next to me only occasionally playing to get free drinks and all the while I told him that he's failing and it's probably not gonna work playing dumb but in reality I very well understood what he meant. He got tired of it and then gave up so I had a try at his machine and ofc I immediately won. He still saw it and almost lost it.
