I definitely don't think they ever broke up, Miz sent Emi tea and dumplings the stream before Japan and Emi ended early to go chill. It's also likely Emi got gifts for Miz (She said she didn't get any gifts for anyone yet then an hour later said she got a gift for someone already)
They definitely didn't "make up" given the second she landed in Japan they were together.
This whole break-up theory is retarded IMHO.
