>>22120423>you see this in Mexican and Italian culture as wellYeah, and in most of the rest of the world too. Dancing is basically a human universal, it's our modern Anglosphere culture that are the odd ones out for not dancing and even we were big on dancing until like yesterday.
As for why they do it, why do women dance anywhere? Everyone loves music and dancing is a way to interact with that, plus there's a kind of sexual element to most forms of dancing of showing off the athleticism and movement of the body to attract partners. Watching those Pajeetesses throwing their hips around definitely makes me want to fuck the shit out of them, so it's working on me.
