A reptile will grow and grow until it dies. Some lizards lived for a very long time, and got massive. Heroes of old would go around killing famous dragons for clout and whatnot. There are probably less than 10 dragons (dinosaurs) left on Earth today, and who knows where the Hell one could find one. Some say the swamps of Africa there are sauropods, but I digress.
