>>13350874I had lasik around 2008. The procedure itself isn't bad. 30 minutes tops. Just lay down and look at the green light. Don't look at the red light. The meds they give you before hand are anxiety pills. I didn't take them but some need them. Also, don't touch your eyes after the surgery. I was a dumb ass and pulled down the protective visor and got betadine in my eyes. Burned like hell. Your eyes will be more sensitive to light and they will be dryer for the first couple of years. After roughly 2 years or so the dryness should go away but the sensitivity to light is for life. In my case, I had 20/20 for 11 years after the surgery. Now I am at 25/20. I would do it again as I was nearly blind before hand.
