The known world so far is entirely encased in an entire wall. The people don't think anything exists outside the wall, and that the wall is God. For some reason, unexplained, metal drop pods keep on dropping monthly from the sky usually bearing resources, gifts and weapons, so the people assume it's a gift from the wall.
Protagonist is a hotblooded amnesiac found in one of these drop pods, lands in the middle of a Wild West village in the middle of no where, and claims to have come from beyond the wall. Gets into a mecha battle with some mech-piloting cowboy outlaw in the process.
First episode gave me a lot of Wild Arms and Xenogears vibes.
