I'd move the fuck out of here the first chance I get if I could convince my brothers, sisters, and parents (and everyone's families—all four of us are married, and we have eleven kids in all) to come with us. I've floated the idea of doing that, and half of them are into it. I'm trying to find a cul-de-sac somewhere in the midwest with at least five houses for sale (probably going to need to be new development) so we can form a real clan and support each other.
Since all of our jobs are remote, it should be doable in theory, it's just getting through the psychological barriers.
