i'm not exactly a director so i could't give you a detailed rundown, but being in black and white has all sorts of implications on the way things look, especially when it comes to lighting. it's intentionally removing detail for a different effect

well see i know a lot of jokes like this, the real problem i think is that it was all situational race humor. we were playing a game where all but one person is given the name of a location and then have to guess who's in the dark by asking each other questions while the odd man out has to try and guess the location before he's caught
one time it was police station so i asked "how do the people around this place feel about black people?" because that's funny. another time it was gaming convention so i asked "stereotypically what ethnicity do you think would be most represented here?" because that's just a good question strategically speaking. the last time i was the spy and thought the location was military base so i asked "how similar would you say the people here look?" referring to the uniforms and buzz cuts but apparently it was basketball court so one of them said "[nanster] and race baiting, name a more iconic duo"
