Quoted By:
Luke 11:33, anon.
>"No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light."
John 14:23—24 as well.
>Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
>Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
So pray, trust in God, and become the best Christian you can be. To be the brightest lamp that God can make you. His light will shine out of your eyes, your fingertips, and your heart and soul; people can tell when you have God as your rock of salvation, just as people can tell when your thoughts are sincere. Many will get angry. Others will ignore you. Some will be curious. It is often the Holy Spirit that gives discretion, to decide who to approach about the Gospel, only do not quench that spirit.
Oftentimes people may approach you, to ask where your joy comes from. And then honesty and the spirit will move you to give testimony of Christ.
