>>20519030As I believe you to be.
You obviously have more than two functioning neurons, which is increasingly rare.
To judge Christianity by professing Christians is not the best way to figure it out.
You have to consider that you are an outside witness to the greatest apostasy in history.
The 'church' has lost the plot.
At its core, the role of the Church is to spread the Good News that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, rose from the grave the third day, and will do the same for you upon His return.
That message is not very profitable.
I am not a paid hireling like those who are 501c3 approved.
I have nothing to sell you (well, maybe a medicare advantage plan in the near future, but I digress) I just know where I started and why I am not there anymore.
I was a pagan/scientologist (alot less difference than you'd think) for most of my teens and early 20's.
I then drifted in a general 'yeah, I believe in god, but' state for several years and still kept all the new age positivity crap.
I joined a few new organizations. One day I found a list of the top three Illuminati organizations. I was a member of three. This really did not benefit me that I can tell.
After almost dying in an accident and suffering for a few years while praying for death each night before bed, I happened across a crotchety old Korean war veteran teaching the Bible verse by verse. He seemed to be wrong about alot, but it was fascinating.
He wasn't nearly as wrong as I had assumed.
I started studying the Bible myself, challenging all my doubts. It stood up. Best I can tell, 'science' was invented by Satan to lie about every single part of the Bible.
Anyway, there I was and here I am.
I took God at His Word, and I see that it does not agree with the church or the world.
You can basically use popular thought as a checklist of how God says NOT to do things.
That means feminism, miscegenation, sodomy, etc. are all part of Satan trying to turn man away from God.
