22. And they bring him to Gologothan, a place which is translated of a skull place.
23. And they were offering him wine mingled with myrrh; he however did not take it.
24. And having crucified him, also they divided the garments of him, casting lots for them, who what should take.
25. It was then the third hour, and they crucified him.
26. And there was the inscription of the accusation against him having been written: "THE KING OF THE JEWS."
Notice how it doesn't explicitly state Jesus was crucified?
Coincidentally the gnostics also held the belief that Simon of Cyrene was crucified in Jesus' place, as Jesus was incorporeal and could transmute himself at will.
