I take mirtazapine 30mg and quetiapine 100mg everyday for major depression, anxiety, insomnia and drug/alcohol addiction. I'd usually not take the anti-psychotic but I am so desperate I am willing to try it, been taking it for almost a month.
If you have to take an anti-psychotic it's either because you are a schizo or you got severe depression or severe something else.
I've heard my psychiatrist mention Olanzapine and it's usually reserved for patients with severe schizophrenia, why are you taking it?
I hate taking quetiapine, it makes me sleepy after 3 hours but I feel uncomfortable, disoriented like if I can't move. I'd advise you do exercise unless you want to be fat. I was in the psych ward and all the patients that I saw that took anti-psychotic for long periods of times were fat, no exception.
Also my shrink is "free", he's an addictionist too which is a plus.
