I know the economy is fucked because I have only worked temp jobs this year- 2 cut my hours for no reason, 2 more stole wages from me. Today my insurance provider sent me a bill for a service I know is 100% covered by my plan because it's the same medical code as the last year when I had a routine checkup of the same nature, apparently they're being sued for this across the country because they send people bills hoping they never wise up and appeal.
When everyone is trying to squeeze out the last penny, that's when things are cooked.
