Now given the aether isn't at rest you can in theory keep something going forever and have unlimited power but that's not the same as forcing it all out at once.
Aetheric weapons are 100% possible though. Between you and the glowniggers that watch me I've been giving their design a lot of thought and will eventually work something out. Things like waves of energy that break down matter should not only be possible but selective in nature too so you could in theory send a pulse out that breaks down organic bodies but leaves things like clothes behind.
