>>16026219>Can you give some examples? If you mean people, not really, they're awkward to describe. Doesn't make sense or sound like much unless you've seen it for yourself. Practically just telling you to take my word for it, but, I think it makes sense when tied back into how most people on this site are just surface level individuals.
I suppose I'm making it sound way too grand, like, they're still not this grail of gold where you'll find nothing but quality and interesting people, a bunch of them are straight up worse than this board even, but I believe that you could find somewhere to settle in and have it be pretty fun to do so, it's not like I haven't managed to do it more than a couple or so times, now. It's not a guaranteed good imageboard experience, who knows if that's even a thing anymore, but I think it's still better than here.
Could also just be a preference and own experience thing, also. I mean, if you like the kind of people here, maybe you'll dislike the ones around them. I think the best thing for you to do is just try it out for yourself and go do some tourism, rather than take my word for it so much. Might've just been bad apples that you ran into with your last experience.
>around for a bit then gone forever. There are still ones that have been around for a very long time and going fairly strong still, so, I don't think it's exactly the case. They do tend to inevitably implode because of metadrama or whatever, but that's unfortunately pretty much everything.
>at least this place will basically always exist. It will, yeah, but only in a technical sense. Even this board will just turn into like all the other ones eventually. It's already on that path. The question is just that if it'll be any worth coming back to, even if it's up.
But you're right still, at the end of the day it's the most active one, and for an imageboard addict it's pretty hard not to be attracted towards. Maybe I'll grow out of it and retire somewhere, eventually. Char lim.
