2. As early as possible: teach the Greek myths (kids love them if they haven't had their brains Disneyfied/Pixared), and classics like The Wind in the Willows, etc.
3. Early and often: expose your child to his or her culture if yo can afford it: live theatre, opera, classical music, etc.
4. Do not allow him or her to be looked after by other people, even if you truat them. Definitely no slee-overs or overnight trip or summer camps that require them to be away overnight.
5. Get outdoors with them, walk, hike, read outdoors, be outdoors.

6. Teach/allow them to trust their instincts about people.
7. Be involved in their schooling. Do not trust school or teachers to do the right thing, teach the right things. Advocate for your child, always. It will be needed.
