>>1129363I was walking home as it was getting dark about a month ago and every street lamp was covered in flies that were flying around the light. It was more flies than I have ever seen and the "clouds" of flies were so thick the light on the ground was actually moving a bit like if there was a haze. From documentaries, that seems like what Alaska and Siberia are like everywhere when it's warm enough. There's mosquitoes here but not too many. One was harassing me for three nights straight this week, though.
