If you ask MEN to rate picks of men, MEN still rate pics of men as uglier than pics of women.
And WOMEN rate pics of women as prettier than pics of men.
Men only turn delusional when it comes to rating pictures of themselves. They understand, correctly, that men as a whole are ugly, but they fail to see this ugliness in themselves.
Women almost always date "down" in terms of beauty, because men are the uglier gender. There are beautiful men, there are handsome men, but this is rare. However this can be to men's advantage as well--it doesn't take very much to be set apart from other men. Its not the end of the world even if you are plain. You can still be funny, interesting, compassionate, charismatic, athletic, adventurous, etc. etc. etc. Not to mention other physical qualities like tall, well groomed, nice voice, nice jawline, well built, etc.
The number of "true incels" (people so ugly they are repulsive to look at and shameful to be seen with) is < 5%
