I don't think there is a very active numismatic scene around me, the closest probably would be Paris.
What we have a lot though are dying boomers. I guess the best deals in the numis world are made when you have a lot of contacts/friends and freshly minted widows call you first to liquidate their relatives' collection because they already know you. Sadly i've none of this. Connexion wise i'm like a newborn when it come to older folks. All what my friends collect are CC debts and various addictions lol. But i'm motivated.
Maybe i should start by creating accounts on french numis forums/discords and present myself..
