God doesn't want you to pierce the veil, he doesn't want you to communicate with the metaphysical. it's there for you if you want to, but the reason we can't interact beyond the veil in our day to day is because it is there to protect us. the spirit word exists. we are eternal spiritual beings having a temporary human experience. your flesh forgot, but your spirit exists deep down, and things interact with your spirit whether you believe in God or not. i would argue there is no benefit whatsoever to take psychedelics, and in fact you should be warned against trying to access forbidden knowledge that is clearly not meant for you
