If I was an anime inventor, I'd build one about inanimate objects that come to life, similar to toy story. Except these would live in the house of a married couple. And they change form into anime girls when the house is empty. The kotatsu is warm and motherly. The TV is a bit loud and full of herself. The vase soft-spoken and beautiful. The microwave is a brat because the wife is a good housewife that always cooks from scratch, so the microwave doesn't get much use.
Episodes would revolve around things like stopping the TV being sold at a yard sale. Or damage carrying over from the human form to the inanimate form and trying to hide it. You could have an episode where the couple takes a week off from work, and they're going crazy because they can't transform back to humans. An episode trying to get the wife to use the microwave more so she doesn't feel left out. The possibilities are endless.
