>>20192908>do you draw on the same layer as the sketch? i was recently told to do that but i don't see how that is possible without making a huge messI use the same layer for the figure and a different layer for the hair, hand, limbs, etc. You can clean and erase and slowly draw the lineart at the same layers like with our fren Ubel here you can see that the hair is still a mess but I'm slowly cleaning and redrawing it as I go on the same layer for the hair. It helps to keep different parts of the figure on different layers that way you can work with her head and hair without any interference when erasing different parts and when you're happy with the end result just merge them into a single layer.
