They just give people money for rent, give out free food, provide free medical care, help with bills etc. I actually had a job as an accountant where I handled some of that paperwork, it was housing assistance for the poor. It wasn't my responsibility, but the paperwork did pass through my desk. I know you want to just compare the Catholic charities to whatever 'philanthropy' someone like Soros ge's up to, but that just isn't honest or accurate at all.
