But you know what seems the worst of all? Couples. Man I went hiking alone today, and passed by so many where it was just like the woman rambling on about some petty drama, and the man responding sympathetically pretending to be interested. Meanwhile a minute after I pass them I get to hear only the sound of the wind, the leaves rustling, birds chirping, and my shoes crunching over the dirt and pebbles.
