We often judge certain boards to be of good or bad quality, and yet, none agree on what a good board is to begin with. Is it one in which a man can shitpost to his heart's content? Or, perhaps, one that is free of BBC and the schizo rambling's of the average /pol/tard? There are endless possible states in which a board can be in to be considered good, which is to say that there are plenty of acceptable definitions for a "good board". But in spite of this generously low bar, many boards are still considered bad. Is it because it's human nature to only see the bad in things? *smokes pipe* Or is it because it's human nature to only create bad threads? *smokes pipe again* Or could it be both?
