>>21801081>you might want to look into the origin of the word jew, and the way it has been translated into English from the original Greek from the new testamentYou might want to look into uses of the same word for jew referring to the same religion and ethnicity, by Greeks and Romans for centuries prior to the New Testament. Then ask yourself why you didn't think of checking that before falling for obvious bullshit.
Your theory that "jew" started being mistranslated in the 1800s comes from one cope-ist we wuzzer. Anyone who studied more classics in translation than just the new testament would know that they were referring to jews the same way before the Christian movement, during, and after. It's in the laws, the debates, and everything. It's the same words in greek and latin, referring to the same Religion-Race-Region people for centuries. It refers to them the same way whether they are in Judea, or in a neighboring country -- because they are recognized as foreigners called jews/israelites/yehudis etc. How can you understand any of Origen's debates with Celsus defending Christianity if your mistranslation theory is correct? How do you make sense of ANY of the Christian defenders in the early church if Ἰουδαίοις doesn't mean jew -- all the early Christians were using THAT WORD for Christ, was every early christian work a forgery somehow? How do you translate any of the histories of wars with the jews, or trials involving jews before Christians if somehow the meaning of jew was changed?
You fell for retarded shit.
