hence; any depiction of Christ imagery for educational (and not idolatrous purposes) does a disservice to the world by not putting the scars between the two bones of the arm, and adjacent to the wrist for support whilst being suspended on crucifix.
if they did pic rel and that nail shattered his hand; not only would they break numerous carpal bones etc. they would rip off the crossbeam as soon as Jesus became suspended from the weight.
same analogy applies to the feet as well; roman's nailed inbetween the bones and adjacent the ankle.
