>>14878347Had an awesome dream about Touhou on Saturday night. I recorded it by making a thread on /jp/ for a bit.
I just woke up from one of the most amazing dreams I've ever had, it was absolutely incredible. I need to get this out for my own sake before I forget it. Someone (might've been the Coen Brothers, or someone heavily inspired by them) made a live-action movie synthesizing Touhou and southern American folklore. It was reminiscent of O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and it followed a protagonist through the Appalachian region, where he befriends various Touhou characters, notably Yuyuko and Marisa. I was with a bunch of friends watching clips of it on Youtube, and I remember being blown away, thinking "this movie is wonderful and whoever did this is a genius". There was a giant fight scene too right at the end where time stopped (must've been Sakuya) and Marisa blew off the heads of some violent carjackers with a sawed-off double barrel. It had a kickass rockabilly soundtrack too, I think this song was in it.
