But after talking to Robert Schoch, Randal Carlson and John Anthony West he rethought his ideas and then they discovered Göbekli Tepe and he realized how dumb the whole ancient ayys was and how much damage it did to his reputation.
He probably intentionally holds back on the wackier ideas because he doesn't wanna get burned again.
