I oftentimes get into not-caring contests with friends and acquaintances.
Essentially all are like me. Intimacy and sentimentality are icky. This is reflected in my rampant pornography and social media usage. I delight at the suffering of those I don't like, and am envious of those I like who are more well off. This mentality pervades every aspect of society. Family, government, religion, it's all an unserious clownshow because God forbid we don't take this life for granted.
