Unironically I want to live in the Elder Scrolls universe. The responsibility I have now don't exist in that world. I haven't seen one NPC (other than inn keepers and the workers at the Surilie Brothers Wine company in Skingrad) work for eight hours a day. And believe me I've watched. I could probably live a very comfortable life. No property taxes, make money by going around the forest picking mushrooms and other greens. Hunt for pelts.
I've been rich in many of the lives I've lived in the game. It's not hard. A idiot could do it. Even the beggars are rich. I would find my self a wife, perhaps rescue a woman on her travels. But since there are so many beautiful woman in the world, and it would be my one and only life, I would have to observe my woman carefully to make sure she is the one I would want to spend the rest of my life with. Could she help me? Would she help provide income? Obviously race mixing is immposible, but that's okay. I can still be with another race, red guard, Breton, but just not have kids. I would never want to get involved with the dark brotherhood either. I've played Skyrim and see the circus they eventually become. Disgusting.
I would really escape all my responsibilities if I could just open my dresser draws, climb in, and be transported to the world of the Elder Scrolls. I know so much about it, the land, I would be right at home. Once virtual reality comes into play and can stimulate our nervous system I'll hang my hat to pick up a sword. But if it could become real, than I'll be okay with that too.
