>>6963467honestly i didn't anticipate them spending so much time on it. after about 3 hours a familiar NPC just showed up and asked them if they were trying to kill the imp. when they said yes he just popped it real quick and splashed holy water on it's corpse (this does permanently kill it, that still does not free them from their end of the deal), then told them there were more pressing matters to deal with
>>6963488we went over it in text over discord. it happened because the party got split up right at the end of the previous session so only the 2 of them met the imp and i didn't want the 3rd guy to be able to stop them from getting duped since his character wasn't there
